The husband’s lifestyle must always be thinking of the benefit of his wife. This means that you first always direct her to follow after Jesus Christ. You take the initiative to trust the Lord with all things. You share with her what the Holy Spirit teaches you from your time in the Bible. You take the lead to pray always. This is submissive, spiritual leadership.
In addition, husbands must do everything they can to care for the earthly needs of the wife (I Timothy 5:8). This provision covers many different areas. The husband make sure that to the best of his ability, he cares for the mental, physical, and emotional needs of his mate. This can be done in a variety of ways from listening to your wife, to telling her verbally of your love for her, to helping with the upkeep of the house, to providing for her sexual needs (I Corinthians 7:3).
Husbands we must lead our wives submissively. To do this we must make God our life and make our wife’s needs top priority. To do this, we need discipline, self-sacrifice, and gentleness. This is submissive leadership.

I believe that in the sexual life within marriage that each partner should focus upon out pleasing the other. This means focusing upon the needs of your spouse rather than on your needs. The husband should take the lead in doing this.
