God valued people to the extent that He put on human flesh and became a man named Jesus. As a man, God lived on this earth, experiencing all of the joys and pain that humans face. Despite being tempted just like you and me, God did not grasp sin but fulfilled His own rules for righteousness. He willingly accepted false accusations from men and allowed Himself to be executed among sinners as if He were a sinner. He willingly took the penalty for the sins of all people of all time upon Himself. God tasted death and was buried. But because He was without sin, God could not be forever held by death. God raised from the dead.
Why would God do such a thing? He would do so because He values people.
He knows all of your failure and lived a perfect life for you. He knows all your sin and took the punishment for you. He knows that sin causes death and He died for you. He knows your fear of death and He tamed death so that its bite will never need to hurt you. He values you.
Through Jesus Christ, humanity has the chance to become God’s valued children. Anyone who knows that God offers eternal life through Jesus Christ’s work, may come to Jesus and, by simply asking, receive forgiveness of sin and victory over eternal death.
